Auto one works fine with a manual loom/in a manual car :y

Tech 2 should be able to switch it to a manual config :y

As said, 3.2 Auto ECU will work in a Manual (MID aside if fitted) so shouldn't bring up EML or Spanner, as the ECU Loom tells the ECU whats what (or least it does on the 2.5,2.6 and 3.0).

Having said that, as pointed out by my Chip Man when he was playing about with some of mine in the past, reading some of the Police 3.2 Manual ECU were Re Mapped differently over standard 3.2 Auto ECU's. Whether it was a performance thing, a gearbox thing or a bit of both we never got that far.  :-\

Indeed apart from the Mid message, my 3.2 was fine on an auto ecu :y
