Title: Amazon trade in
Post by: The Sheriff on 22 January 2015, 19:23:26
Never heard of this until today. Sounds great......for amazon.
My wife brought home a guinness world records book from 1968, cost 17s/6d. My son said it might be worth something as people will buy any old tat. Went on amazon, there were two copies, 9.50+p&p and £10+p&p.
Then  i spotted the trade in box. If you have one of these, trade it in and amazon will send you a gift card for......

Drum roll..........

32p.  ;D

True. I'm naïve enough to believe I deserve the service I pay for...

TBH, when it works, it works well (OK, deliveries can sometimes be variable).  Its when you have to call them...  ...their ineptitude is at a level not seen before.

Ah, Amazon Marketplace. That's entirely different to Amazon. Marketplace is worth avoiding even more than "proper" Amazon.
