Title: Unbelievable!
Post by: BazaJT on 02 February 2015, 20:31:14
As some on here will know from a previous post of mine a few weeks ago the drivers door mirror on my Omega was clipped whilst it was parked outside the house.Body coloured mirror back went awol and black plastic mirror surround cracked and broken.Anyway I managed to track these items down locally yesterday for only a couple of quid and even found the few minutes to fit them, woohoo all as good as new, well if you discount the fact the body coloured bit was silver and my car is graphite anyway. So this morning I step outside to find that some blind incompetent muppet has hit the mirror again!!!Mirror back broken beyond repair ditto the mirror surround and this time the mirror glass laid on the floor in several pieces too, gutted!!So the hunt now back on to find yet more[cheap]replacements.

Not being funny, but I swing my mirrors in when I park, so these numpties don't hit them. Had the mirror wacked off my van a while back, now I have got into the habit of swinging the mirror in. :y

Yep - always swing mine in. Sadly found mine cracked off a month or two back. This was nearside and parked against a tree. Someone must have walked in the 6 inches of gap between tree and door mirror - then sat on the ruddy thing in order to break it.  >:(

Sellotape holding it in position, has been for several weeks now. Car got keyed last week, so I really can't be bothered, sorry to say.  :'(
