RobG recommended me a Good cheap printer, An Epson (can't recall the model off heart) it has a little display and WiFi, SD card slot etc..

Also I've had only one ink change since I had it and that wasn't genuine ink either which is still going and I do print a few times a week usually text based no pictures, That was another place Rob recommend for ink I can't recall  :-\... Hopefully Rob has a better time remembering the details than me  :-X ;D

I was looking at creating a photo album and wanted to print some small photos off from my phone and pc mainly but having the photo copier would save a great deal of faffing about getting a copy from the shops  :y

It's a pretty cleaver little printer can actually print using 'AirPrint' on this iPhone if needed, Not sure what it's called on Android haven't tried that yet.

Biggest headache is going to be Ink cost, worth doing your homework on ink use by user reviews etc, most dont like non OEM Inks or readymade refills type of the bay.

Ive use a Canon all in one WiFi one, which I picked from PC Word under one of those manager specials for £20, RRP was around the £100 mark (no Disks or Books came with it), excellent bit of kit but drinks Ink, I also managed to get extended 3 year warranty thrown in which in theory will get me a Free 'Like for Like' replacement in 2 years 11 months time when I decide to break it.  ;D

The Epson does pop up with the odd message with the 'none genuine ink' however all you have to do is click OK every few weeks or so and its as happy as Larry... Plus I'm sure you get much much more ink in the none genuine ones.

Have printed one or two pictures on glossy picture paper few months back it peformed fine to my eyes anyway  :y

If you read some of the reviews about Epson (i,ve an XP212) and most say that non genuine inks cause problems, though
i havn,t had mine long enough to be a problem as i was given some Epson cartridges with the printer. :-\

We use an Epson at work. Think it's a px830.
We've had it about 2yeats now and not had one thing go wrong with it :y

We use a bottle ink system attached to to as it has 6 cartridges and the ink was costing too much. Now we buy our ink in the 6 different colours for about £5 a bottle for 100ml a massive saving on originals and compatibles :y

Use a printing beareau - lots of photos will cost a fortune from a 6/7 colour printer (and look poor from a 4 colour one)
