Title: head rest recover..

has anyone ever had their leather rear h/rests recovered....ive just aquired some black leather ones(with great thanks to lee4206)...they look great in the car but my interior is light grey....just wondering on cost to have all three done... :y

Far more than buying them in the right fabric ! should be plenty around in the scrappers as it's someting i have never sold from all the ones I have broken

Or you could re-colour them for a few quid. Try upholstery suppliers for the dye required.

Yes.


It might take a couple of coats, but that's hardly a problem.

Polyeurathane paint would do the job as it's flexible and durable, but possibly not the look you're after ::)

Yes.


It might take a couple of coats, but that's hardly a problem.
I prefer leather effect plastic to plastic effect leather. ;D

I have used this stuff before, don't bother with aerosols, I bought the paint and used an air brush to put it on, took loads of coats on a P6 Rover to change the interior to biscuit from a dark beige sort of colour.................. :y :y
