Title: removed sl suspension question
Post by: drinksoptional on 20 February 2015, 22:51:30
Hi yesterday I removed the sl shocks and replaced them with kyb shocks . I pulled fuse 27 I'm guessing that's the one for the compressor  only. Can anybody confirm this and anything I should of done. Thank you

pulling fuse 27 will disable the rear cigar lighter.  when i removed the sl i eventually put 27 back in and removed the relay instead, the pump is still in situ, seemed to work. search on here to find which relay it is, i think it is the second from left under the steering wheel.

Yank the relay, next to (and identical to) the headlight main beam.

Yep. Nothing more required. Can leave fuse 27 in place as a result which keeps the rear 12v socket working.

However. If you ever intend to ever re fit self levelling, consider that the pump WILL seize if left unused for a while.
