Title: Reassurance needed.
Post by: The Sheriff on 26 February 2015, 12:47:00
My daewoo is a fine car, suitable for my needs and relatively new. However,  recently I find myself perusing that seducer of a site Autotrader. I look at anything and everything and imagine driving it and guessing what it would look like on my drive. I even looked at an omega estate last week.
So I need you fine fellows to tell me how stupid I would be to get rid of such a fine car, only to end up with something inferior. Thanks, guys. :y

This could be used to tow away a dead Daewoo. :y

Once done property prices will rise by 15%. :y

I'd rather have a Frontera than a Range Rooney.

Less pretentious, and more of a 'does what it says on the tin' kind of car.

Yes, yes, but neither compare favourably to a daewoo.

Reassurance for STMO that he has another fine car on his drive, and we can still take the piss, as he's driving a Renault!  ;D

Only one thing for it...

A clean Omega estate. Spec doesn't matter particularly, but as new as you can get.

The purchase savings will keep it in fuel and parts for at least three years :y

Why not... might take a grand or so to fix the higher mileage foibles... suspension/thermostat/hbv/cambelt/cam covers/ bloody good service etc, but shouldn't then need much more than service items :y

Pronounced Da-cher...I think.

You see a few old Daewoo about. One model looks suspiciously like a Mk2 Astra.
