Title: bonnet latch adjustment
Post by: LostBloke on 26 February 2015, 19:03:30
Hi, just a quickie (!!!)

Following the guide I adjusted the bonnet latch, but, on trying to tighten the bolt, it will not tighten it just keeps on turning. I think the bent over springy thingy that the bolt tightens into is knackered. So that I can get a replacement, the question is - what is it called ?

Thanks

LB

O.K.  there called U clips, so next silly question. What size is the one for this bolt?

Sorry to be a pain.

Wow !

That's a very handy site, thanks.

The part is No 34, but I can't see it on the parts list.

Not to worry, I've just bought some of assorted sizes, hopefully, one of the blighters will fit.
