They have been starved of almost any success those villa fans . . . but sure there will be repercussions from the FA.
Only see last few minutes of first half & then all second half . . . good game for the neutrals
Should have been 1-1 before it became 2-0 . . how did lescott miss that header :o :o
By the way , I'm preparing for a battering from Gixer & SteveAVFC if Liverpool get stuffed against Blackburn tomorrow ::)

Villa Park saw similar scenes when Utd beat Arsenal In the year of the trebble. Utd fans invaded the pitch. But from what I saw of the media coverage there was a suggestion that it was no more than pure jubilation.
Today seemed mostly similar. But with a more sinister element. Seats thrown etc. Well before the end of the match. Their own fans, at they're own ground, after there own side won.( ;) )I find that most ..... odd. :-\

As a baggies fan lve been in a rather understandable grump . I had had a bad feeling about the previous game and sure enough the Vile nicked it with a last gasp penalty but they deserved the win ,not least because they seemed to want it more. Foster having a howler obviously helped them. For the cup game, I really thought we would want to prove a point and would get a win. Trouble is we lack pace and width so when we do get chances we need to take them and we missed at least one sitter. Neither team have bad players but then neither is "too good to go down" either. As for the sending offs , I think both were harsh-especially when you look at Hutton's challenge on Berahino in the previous game that gave both a yellow for squaring up to each other rather than punishing Hutton for his malicious high challenge. As for the pitch invasion, well I'm sure most of it was high spirits after 2 wins but Pulis was right to criticize the stewardship which put both fans and players in danger and, of course, it gave the idiots their opportunity for violence. Now I've got to psyche myself up for the ribbing I'm going to get from the Villa fan at work on Monday :(

Totally against pitch invasions puts the club in a bad light. Other than that looking forward to invading London. We have been in the shite for far to long, scrapping for are premiership survival aint good for the heart rate. Every team that wins gets scrutinized over whether they should have won or not ie last minuet pens, should he have still been on the pitch, its expected. But you know what i don't give a toss. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

They spend all week whipping up the "rivalry" between Villa and West Brom.
Consistently interviewing fans from both side around the local city centre.
The local press spent all week running articles about the "rivalry" between both clubs and both sets of supporters.
Camera's in the face of any and every supporter within a mile of the ground asking about the game and what it means to the supporters.
The match starts
Both teams and both sets of supporters are well and truly fired up for this one.
Both teams are leaving the boot in and playing with pride in the name of the supporters and club.
For the first time in years, Villa win the tie and book a away day down in the capital.
What happens ................ a few lads get over excited and run on the pitch in injury time ::)
A little bit naughty but if it was okay for Wembley 66 then is it really so bad :-\
The final whistle goes and god knows how many Villa fans run onto the pitch to celebrate with each other and congratulate there hero's who won the game for them.
Up in the studio, you have that arse licking idiot Gary Lineker chuntering away to himself while Pearce and Lawrenson are jump on the bandwagon in good old BBC politically correct fashion, everybody's offended style >:( >:(
They was NO trouble on the pitch.
In fact, the only problems out there was the West Brom fans smashing the seats up and throwing them around but up in the studio, we have comment's like "hooligan" and "Idiots"
If this had of been a rugby union match, a rugby league match or at the end of a race at Monza, it would have been described as a "wonderful sight" or "excited fans in jubilation" with maybe a bit of "look what it means to them" thrown in for good measure. But no, you get all this shite from the FA and media >:(
Imo, the BBC wanted the rivalry aspect pumping up and they milked the occasion for all it was worth.
Then they condemned it >:( >:(
All in the name of ratings eh Mr Lineker >:( >:(
Kenneth Wolstenholme must be turning in his grave at what the once passionate game of football has become :(

Add to that the BBC and The FA deemed it acceptable to have the game shown at 5.00pm so it could be seen by the masses, thus allowing a full day on the lash. Who really are the idiots. :y
