Someone has just suggested to me that Chrisgixer might make a good admin(cry). I laughed it off but, after further consideration, I'm warming to the idea. He's always online so would be available night and day to
ban people who don't like talking endlessly about tyres and suspension sort out any problems. He has a pleasant disposition and, I'm sure, would be only too willing to get rid of me at the earliest opportunity give members a fair assessment of potential disputes.
Yes........CG for admin :y

Gixer's criteria for a ban would be:-
- Anyone who dosn't possess a TC card.
- Anyone who fits pattern parts.
- Anyone who fits parts that are not GM/VX even if a quality brand with the possible exception of Lemforder.
- Anyone who buys stuff from ECP, especially windscreen wipers.
- Anyone who has never taken their car to WIM.
- Anyone who spends less than £120 per tyre.
- Anyone who hasn't polybushed their wishbones.
- Anyone who puts their Omega through an automatic car wash.
It's gonna be quiet round here...... :-\ :D ;D

i would also cover that entire list with anyone who presents a solution to another member as gospel, without allowing that member to make an informed decision about the life/quality/performance on that part. That goes for tyres/pattern parts/garages/services/member services or tyre reviews.
For example, a member posting "I just went out and bought a new steering idler for minimal pounds, you should get one too" without knowing the life of that part . Then go on to back the claim as successful in the face of all experience in here saying it's not and that the buyer should be aware the part will fale in weeks.
Your wipers could be the best cheapest ever lasting wipers in the world. But the point is, which you refuse to accept, is that you could not possibly have know that at the time. :) THOSE members we be banned instantly. For a while anyway. ;)
Fit what you like of course. But don't sell it to others without KNOWING its suitability.

Learn to post properly junior! ::)

However, if you where to update the use of that part as its life progresses, and where then in a position to recommend that item to the best of your knowledge, I might make you a moderator, as you'd be promoting the site helping its members, and proving yourself an all round good guy.
...but then patronising posts like this would see you demoted again ;D
Still. Never mind aye Tig ;D
-
No never mind Gix, because you'll have thrown your toys out of your pram and stomped off before long anyway. ;D
-
Oh and any post count between 7385 and 7400 would get the title "sad Devonshire bugger married his sister apparently" :o
-
Still here? ::)
-
How are those wipers anyway Tig?
Should the oof all go buy them?
