Title: Number plate bulb
Post by: danzigfan on 14 March 2015, 17:10:12
Hi guys, I replaced a number plate bulb but it doesn't work. No voltage in the bulb plug contacts also. Is there a fuse for that or should I trace the wiring...Anyone had this problem?  Thanks in advance, Stan

Saloon or estate?

If estate could be a sign of a failing headlight washer pump, as on same circuit... my white estate keeps blowing the fuse and that's the only obvious reason :-\

Oh well... :D

From memory the saloon wiring is similar, so could be worth investigating :-\

I've seen some posts about this issue but not solution... There was mentioning of fuse 26 - it should cover number plate bulb and dashboard vents illumination...frankly...I don't know if those work at all ::) Haven't noticed yet  ;D I'll try to check the fuse first
