Title: Lack of illumination on heater controls

Hi all.
Just bought a 3.0 Elite pre-facelift 1996 and the control for ON/OFF fan, fan speed, digital display in centre control doesn't light up. Can it be removed to replace the bulb or is it knackered?

There is a guide in maintanance I believe. :y
