Title: Parts Advice.
Post by: Mr.OmegaMan on 27 March 2015, 22:44:09
I'm in need of a new condenser (also I'm not sure if it would also be a good idea to also change the dryer at the same time?)

Where would be the cheapest place to buy a decent quality condenser / dryer as of this year? ...Vauxhall want an absurd amount near enough £500 just to fit the condenser, Which at that price is just not an option.

Seen condensers on eBay / ECP for around £120.

Also is there a guide on how to change the condenser.

Thanks in advance.  :y

here's the guide for the condenser http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90559.0

MarksDTM posted a link when I wanted a new one ....... no idea where that is now, but it was around the £100 mark inc a dryer

All straight forward  :y

Any decent motor factor would be able to supply you with the condenser. The ecp one seems as a good price.

About six months ago, fitted it at same time as replacing the coolant radiator then got Serek to fully vac and re-gas the system (also had two new valves) and it been absolutely perfect since.

Carcooling are also good, I got the coolant radiator from them but pretty sure their condensers don't come with the drier.

Omega condensers should come with the drier, its connected (welded) to the condenser.
