Title: Gearbox heating up..
Post by: mav1508 on 01 April 2015, 22:56:30
Evening all.
Just a quick one, I noticed tonight when I arrived at work a 32 mile journey, that there was a bit of heat coming from the console where the auto box selector is.. I take it this is probably not normal..
My gear changes are all normal except for the little bit of heat..?
And is there a dipstick to check the gearbox oil level..?
Thanks.

No dipstick, but there is a guide for checking level  :y

Be aware that the channels for the rear vents go through the centre console, and may be causing the heat?
Mine gets warm when I am roasting myself.
Oooer.
