I considered a dash cam but worry about the 'own goal or shooting ones self in the foot' aspect of it.   :-\
I also curse other drivers and change the words to songs on the radio so I fear getting sectioned if the footage is ever made public.  :-[

Get a small one, fit it discretely behind the rear view mirror, hard wire it, and don't record sound. Then if the crash was your fault, keep quiet about the camera.

Mine is only visible from outside the car if you know it's there, and is barely noticeable from the driver's seat.

When I was reinsuring the MV6, one of the questions asked was whether I had a dash cam fitted which I do, premium for fully comp remained at circa £150.00. I have front and rear dash cams in both omegas , had for about a year now, cheap from ebay at the time for £40ish per cam set( and liked the fact that a rear cam was included).Although I do no expect the gadgets to last, I`ll replace them when the time comes for their obvious usefulness  - I think you can turn off the audio recording

I visualise a fair bit of editing going on Andy.  ;) ;D

Seems a sensible option.  :y

I have them in one if the Omegas and very pleased, was looking at doing the other. Happy if they record a mistake I make, at least it's clear what happened and things get sorted quickly.

I would question the admissibility of edited footage in claim disputes...  :-\

No, but town centre cctv put him bang to rights.

Sadly no further action was taken :-X

If he steps out of place again I can only hope he gets shat on... not seen him since though :-\
