You may recall my daughter in law's car would not start after Christmas and my efforts to rectify it. Failed starter, water in no. 1, head gasket failure diagnosed, problems in replacing HG, then idling fault eventually traced to switched throttle sensor and cam sensor leads, finally heater fan failed and replaced. It has all ended happily, con rods not belt, car fully recommissioned. I thank all members of this forum for advice. I had no idea where to start in December. I attach exchanged e-mails.
Terry you're a star!
I thought I was going to have to get a new car. I'm very grateful for your hard work and time to get it back on the road. I feel very looked after being part of the Paget family and so happy for Tom being the newest member.
Love, Emma x
I'll check the Mot and let you know.

Hi Emmylou,
your car is finally sorted. Sorry it took so long.
I recall the MOT was rushed last year. I see I got it through last year on 27th May and it was almost overdue then. You have the MOT certificate. If you let me know when it expires I will prepare it for a new test.
Love,
Terry
