Title: Wiper nuts - nothing special?

After a slight weather based incident, resulting in my plastic tub of nuts and scuttle clips being launched across the road, I need to replace the two nuts on the wiper spindles. Before I buy a couple, they're not a silly thread size or anything are they? Just bog standard 13mm nuts? :D

Think they are thinner than a normal nut.

M8 half nut ......... the kind of thing that could very easily fall into your pocket at a scrap yard from virtually any vehicle .....  ::)

though I can't think they'd very expensive new from Vx  :-\

If it,s a standard 1/2 nut (M8) you should be able to get them from any good fastener stockist. :y
