Unwind winch strap from a bar, wrap around rear axle and attach to frontera, engage 4x4 low reverse and move car to an angle that will allow me to get out .

So that makes it alright then? idiot.

Well if the owner thinks it ok to leave it there and not leave a contact number then yes,oh im sure you would have done the same thing if it was you,so please keep idiot remarks to yourself.
-
Probably not a good idea to piss off a drug dealer! ;D
-
NICE ONEEEEEEEEE!!! ;D

Good stuff :y :y
They might think again next time :)

Last year someone parked across my Dad's driveway preventing him from getting his car out. He left it there overnight & phoned the police the following morning. The police arranged for it to be lifted & hauled away! :y :y

Actually I wouldn't have. And however aggrieved you might feel by the car being left there, you have publicly admitted both criminal acts, private property or not, so I stand by my comments. Even the land owner doesn't have the right to do what you took upon yourself to do.

Which is what should have been done in this case ;)

I could have got my big angle grinder out and cut the boot of the merc, but i thought that was just a little bit to excessive lol

If I'd have had the chance to sit back, chill and think about the meaning of life, I'd have probably called the police.
But if I needed to be somewhere quickly, the winch would have come out.
Human nature.

Quit agree......... :y :o You OK Steve? You got your meds OK?............ ;) ;)

I would have done the same, bonus points for leaving the car (undamaged) in a position where it cannot get out.
I remember once moving a friends mini 90 degrees in it's parking space. THey had to wait for one of the other car owners to come and move their car ;D
There are some workmen often doing roadworks near my house who like to park across my dropped-kerb drive. I used to ask them to stop, they would move but a few days later forget again. Now I call their supervisor and vent.
I would if I still have access to a couple of 432s ::)

once did something similar with a bmw(b******S)who decided to park illegally outside my work place...he had a habit of doing this and had been asked countless times not to park there........along came a 6tonne fork lift and gave the nice little bmw a lift................onto a nearby skip.....you should have seen the pratts face when he turned up......was funneeeeeeeeee........not a mark on the car anywhere....but he never parked there again ;D
-
haha nice one martin ;D
-
Pretty sure if anyone put my car in a skip with a forklift they'd find themselves being dragged down the road behind it with their face working as an anchor once they'd got it out again..
..course I wouldn't habitually park like a dick either, even if I do drive a BMW.
Something like this:

The mighty 4x4 strikes again 8) carry on.

In the eighties we had an abandoned car parked in a space in our works car park. Spaces were at a premium so someone was detailed to get the police to move it.
Lackey: Car abandoned in our private car park.
Police: can't do anything mate it is on private land.
Lackey: Can we move it?
Police : No it doesn't belong to you.
Next night we all went out and lifted the rear end off the ground and hauled it out onto the road on double yellows. It soon vanished then.

Must admit, I've been tempted to try something when my neighbour was parking across my drive every day.. although I don't know if the Ranger would win in a tug of war against a loaded up Transit Tipper, 4LO or not.. ;D
Also his surname has an ' in it and you don't want to go against the wrong sort.. :-X
