Not sure if they are the same but i have a 3.0l manual one from the estate im breaking?

You need the part no off the ecu

Is the part number I am after stamped on top of the valve body, where the brake pipes go?

The part no is on the black ecu, on the front of the valve block.

I have had a quick look at mine and the numbers you have put up are the same as mine.....the only other number I could find was 928 404 032....It was a quick look mind as I'm on shift at the moment.

Ok. Thanks chaps. Will try to find it in daylight tomorrow. Just come off shift myself.
Been trying to wedge various things down there, makes the lights go off for a while.
MOT is up on Monday, may be able to find a sweet spot for my wedges to try my luck with an MOT test. :y
Still would need another working one though. Not sure if one from a manual would be suitable though. I will ask in General Help.

Got to get the one off mine anyway so i will check on it.  Can't see why it wouldn't be the same to be honest but its worth checking out and a learning curve if nothing else lol.

Looks like those cunning Vauxhall guys have put the part number underneath. :-[

Got to look under the one on the car and the numbers are 961631 and 0273 004 206 its a bosch unit thats on mine so i would say genuine vauxhall one.

I undid the silver plate that is there and then undid the two bolts and pulled it slightly forward and its just underneath the front bit.......You mite be able to just undo the two bolts that hold it in place and slide it forward.....Mine has no engine in and no slam panel/bottom section so I can stand inside the engine bay so its a lot easier for me mate lol.

You have been great mate. Thanks. Looks like the ECU you have will need programming cos mine is auto. Also what year is yours please mate? May still be interested if I can't locate the right one. How much you looking for?
Seem to have some success with one of swmbo s best dessert spoons wedging the ECU. Lights have been out for a day. :y

Oh that's a bummer lol.....Mine is from a 1999 year mate.....As for how much how about £20 for the ecu plus postage? That is just for the ecu mind not that the pump.  Let me know what you think.

Sounds really good to me. I been under the car today with a torch, and the part number matches yours. Which is good, but may still need programming, but thats not a disaster.
So, yep. For £20 plus post....you talked me into it, smoothie.
Yep, ECU only is fine.
