The capture of 2 injured members of this Russian special forces regiment in Ukraine when they fought with ATO forces on the 17th May and their hospitalization in Kyiv and the Russian denial that is an active unit (which has backfired on them, so they have had to withdraw the complete brigade from the City of Luhansk on the 18th May), has put a spotlight on one of many special forces units that operate in Ukraine or regularly cross a porous Russian / Ukrainian border to carry out special operations.
