Many of you may have had calls from Indian sounding callers telling you about faults with your computer, and trying to obtain payment or personal details from you.Well there is a new one from them regarding PPI claims I was informed of this a few weeks ago via our security dept at work. They call you with false details of a supposed loan you have had in the past in the hope you will say no but I did have one with such & such bank. Then the scam begins regarding bank details etc.Well I had one today about an alleged loan I was supposed to have had between 2005 - 2009 from Lloyds Bank whom I have never dealt with the caller asked if I had pursued a PPI claim, I told him that I had & that I had in fact received a cheque for £300,000 yesterday being payment in full , there was a pause & then he asked how much I had borrowed !By now I was enjoying stringing this knobhead along, so I told him I had borrowed 3.5 million to purchase several properties & thanked him for his concern & not to worry as I was off on a world cruise..There was a gasp & the phone went dead , funny that eh..

I may have done but as I never answer my phone to unknown numbers I wouldn't know. ;D
On average, we have around three messages a day on our answer-phone, all from PPI callers. The only time they get played is when my little granddaughter plays them, as it amuses her that a voice comes out of the machine when she presses the play button. ;D

Yes better to wind them up, bunch of tossers they really get my goat, can't wait for the next call just perfected my Indian accent so will string them along for a while , and place an order for a Biriyani & Tikka masala & enquire if they still deliver by Elephant.

Used to get several of these at my last job. Had great fun stringing them along for half an hour, mostly debt agencies. Funnily enough they didn't see the funny side. One even threatened to get BT to cut me off for wasting his time....... Oh how we laughed when we told him to F off :D
