This evening I was commuting back home through Gatwick on my usual back and fourth to frogland when I realised I had left 2 very important and costly items on the plane. I had already gone through passport control so no way of going back. I went customer services who were useless and then I thought to call Al. He got me the internal phone number of the gate where the plane was parked which allowed me to get my stuff back.
Knowing he likes a good pint, I thought I would brew him a personalised beer but he won't tell me what he wants because he is too bloody modest.
I know somebody here can tell me the poison he prefers, so please let me know so I can get started planning it.
Al you are getting some homemade beer whether you like it or not :y

Cobra :y ;D
(Thought this was going to be something serious for a minute :-\ ;D )
-
Christopher, beer is a serious subject .
-
Indeed. Apologies :(
:)
-
And cobra is for curry. What about his everyday beer, numbnuts? ;D
-
As beer is such a serious subject, surely an everyday beer defeats the entire question? Dopey ;D
And I have some that was brewed about 5years ago and is still really lively when opened. It tastes like it would make a good rocket fuel. It has certainly distorted the 2l lemonade bottles it's in!

Think he's a lager man, before you beardy weirdy beer only types start. :P
...but you and Kev do some very nice light beers, I would think one of those tbh.
Veeeeery nice. :y
-
Guessing though. I only ever see home under an omega or over a curry ;D
-
Best send a few sample crates out to me so I can advise which
I prefer I think Al would prefer.
-
Lol ;D
Glad you got your things back :y fortunately the bloke I called for the gate number has a working brain :D

Indeed, more serious even than women... I do prefer a nice light blonde, potent is fine, but I find the darker ones abit heavy...
Of course I am talking beer rather than the fairer sex ::)

The spirit of OOF has many hands, nice one Al.................. :y :y

I'm kinda in that boat as well :y. Although at beer festivals, I sometimes make a reckless choice and plump for some treacle and find it quite more-ish. And that used engine oil/tar that Hotel21 brought to the lasts a few years ago also slipped down nicely, much like myself after reading the quiz and drinking several glasses (to keep the throat lubricated, of course) ;D
-
And good to hear another OOF success story. Great job Mr Al :y

He likes one of them, too. It's about time we had another, isn't it?

Yup, he saved me a lot of money.
I have found a few recipes which are interesting. As it's lager I have to ferment at a low temperature so it's the perfect excuse justification to the wife that need a fermentation fridge ::) ;D
