Oil change yesterday (Thanks Amba :y) and the oil sump plug was pretty chewed up so tried changing to an alternative plug but met some resistance going in. Tried original oil plug but again didn't screw in nice and smooth as expected.
On inspection of the sump thread it may be a bit rough as well so looking to recut the thread and get a new sump plug as a first option before shelling out on replacement sump.
Does anyone know the EXACT thread size so I can buy the thread cutter
Many thanks
Dave

The sump plug is the same thread as the oil pressure switch. As I use a sump plug to stop drips/damage whilst lifting a v6.
