If memory serves its the adjuster nearest to the wing i need to turn, But in what direction?

This is not meant to be funny....but the writing to the right of the adjuster says rtm. Would it say in there. I have not looked, but as mine need doing on the 2.5.....I shall now have a peep. :y

Had a look myself couldn't find anything apart from....
"Headlamp aiming should be carried out by a Vauxhall Dealership, Who will have special equipment"
-
Had a look through...sorted. Take to Vauxhall ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Yeah, right. Was worth a look I suppose :(
Sorry I can't help. I have done them on mine, but I can't remember which way. I guess it will be trial and error up against the garage door :y
-
I'm sure I recognise that picture ::)
There's only two ways to turn them ;) I'm sure you're right as to which one ie the outer is left/right

No worries Terbert :y

Your memory is in tip top condition on that one Andy :y ;D

I just put the lights on and parked in front of the garage. Turn it and watch the light move. . . Go the other way if necessary.
Or am I missing summat :-\

Did you read the manual 1st before you typed that webby ;D
-
I never read manuals mate. I do a job, break a bunch of stuff and then remember not to do it the same way next time ::) ;D

A bunch of stuff is broken off in an American garage, Webby. A load of stuff is broken off over here.
And don't say 'stoopid' or 'Toosday' either.
Or 'Stoodent'.
Fickin American TV. :(

English lessons from a Scouser. . . .
That reminds me, I really should get new locking wheel nuts ;D

Be careful with the adjusters they can break inside the lamp unit if they are not already ;)

Its a new (well a year or so old got it recently) GM headlamp they should be fine hence why i need it adjusted :y
-
Which ever way is needed to adjust the lights correctly. ;)
If they move up when you want down, turn them the other way. Unless the adjusters are busted internally of course, then turn them whichever way you like all day long they won't budge. No experience of this though, as, to TB's dismay, I have never had an omega with busted headlight adjusters except on my 2.5 which had been damaged and where later swapped for depo's which failed on the nylon wheels on the back.

I do have one old spare (known broken HID headlamp kicking about) i could practice on for the future if needed, Question is how do you re-seal the headlight once done?
-
When I did a mate's we found there was plenty enough of the glue to re-seal back. So long as you don't end up getting the thing covered in dust and fluff, you should be fine, in my experience. Some oofers may have done more, and found different, and I may have just been lucky. :)
