Senna era. Far more intoxicating. Louder, obviously. Aerofloil wisps spewing off the rear wing. Visibly quicker in the corners. Sparks off the floor.
Makes the modern era seem so dull.
F1 really has lost its way IMO. Don't get me wrong though, I love to see f1 cars wanting round a track. But when they start debating 18" wheel changes to chav things up despair rules. Re fuelling anyone? Really? ::)
Sad. Very sad.
-
Monaco is packed with spectators, unlike this years event.
This is f1 rewind btw. Bbc2 now
-

And yes old. Very old.
-
Was at Donny,etc. :)
-
Need to get an f1 race off my bucket list. Or is it too late to call it f1?
-
Senna's qualification lap was something else. :y
-
Pit stops are veeeery dated though. 10secs? ;D
-
You need to go to spa or monaco.

How old I feel, :)
-
World endurance looks far more exciting. (These days) Race is a bit long though ;D
-
I've been watching the TT......much more exciting. :y
The riders are unhinged.
-
Any 24hr race gets interesting when the sun sets and rises, as team members body clocks go funny, before energy drinks, was coffee,

So you agree with what I've been on about for the last few years?

WHAT? Agree? With TB? Who doth protest too much? Never ;D
Certainly not to the point where touring cars are preferred. Another discipline entirely.
But it's definitely time for Bernie to ops off. Bah! He should be in jail anyway. ;D

Oi.!. Was a proper race, when we had, cozzies, real m3,skylines,Holden,jags.
Bernie tried to get involved, but they said no,hence touring cars don't support GP anymore.
-
Oi what? I love touring cars. Its just not a replacement for f1. Or vice versa.

Trouble with F1 and touring cars now is I don't find.d them interesting any more, DTM has gone the same way, rallying, seems tame, grp C is about as good as about as good as it gets, but I am wrong side of the wall now >:(
-
most exciting series for me now is the aussie v8 supercars, now they know how to race! :y

Much better race today in Canada. But still a way to go. A more level playing field on engines would help.

thay are about 3 years behind Mercedes to be fair. Frustrating though. Ferrari must be laughing SO hard, especially at Alonso.
