Hi guys,
I have a few things that need doing on my Omega 3.0 V6 Elite W reg. JamesV6CDX sorted out the cam cover gaskets and a few other problems in January and did a great job but I know he's really busy. I'm not mechanically minded enough to do this on my own :-\ so if anyone knows someone not too far from me who can do the work I'd really appreciate it. I'm based just outside Henley-on-Thames (RG9).
Here's my list:
1. Replace drop links
2. Replace fan belt
3. Replace brake pads (dash warning and brake light warning showing)
4. Replace drivers door check strap
5. Tighten handbrake
6. Oil and oil filter change
7. Sort out rear window wiper
Cheers. :y

I'm so sorry I just saw your message. I am afraid I've been in hospital with a sudden heart problem so I'm not able to do anything too strenuous at the mo :(

Pericarditis. Inflammation of the fluid filled sack around the heart. Scaring the living day lights out of me, I can only just catch my breath at rest!
-
Hope you're on the mend and 100% very soon, James. All the very best :)

Good dose of anti-bio tics, and lots of rest, and hope that cure it,the rest is the important bit.
You don't want it with pleurisy, that hurts.
Get well soon :y

Ere no! Working, not enough sleep, rundown immune system, infection in the bronchial system, which infects the fluid sac's around the lungs, then in turn infects the other.
Two weeks rest and antibiotics, job jobbed. :y

Sorry you are unwell James, and I hope you get well soon. My 3.2 was saved from the scrapyard by your clutch changing maintenance guide; I had a go, managed it, car still runs. Many thanks, and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
