3M Headlight Restorer kit has everything you need bar the drill.... :y
-
Buy a sheet each of 1000 and 1200 wet and dry paper. A sheet of 1500 if you can find it might be worth having.
Use on a small block and with lots of soapy water.
Then buff them up with your favourite abrasive polish; something coarser than T-cut if you can.
Some masking tape on the wing edges and on the bumper is a good idea.
I brought both of mine back from dull and very yellow in under an hour, on the car in the dark.

I've used this too, with great results. Enough in the kit to do 2 sets.
2.2 came out really well, must do the 3.2's headlights too

I was watching a fella clean up an 03 Renault clit's very yellow headlights to crystal clear the other day and he was just using T-Cut. :y
He used a fair bit of elbow grease as well mind. ;)

I use an abrasive toothpaste mixed with T-Cut and various grades of W&D. Finished off with a polisher.

Thanks for all the recommendations folks , the stuff that didnt work

I done my headlights a couple of weeks ago using the Maguire kit from Halfords, worked a treat :y

I too have used the 3M kit with very good results. Need to do the other car when I get home.

As above, I finished mine with solvol auto metal polish, and final polish with some mer.
