They bloke that fitted mine a few years back was ok but seemed to be in a rush :-\ Maybe on some sort of scheme of having to do so many a day in a set amount of time ::)
-
I've had three over the last three years (well, the wife has)... All fine.
-
Had a couple done by them, no complaints here. :-\
-
Will let you know on Mundy... New screen being fitted then
-
Be aware al of cheap glass that doesn't fit very well. The black label on the passenger side on the screen if it says fy then tell him no thank you. Its cheap inferior Chinese mince

Pretty sure you'll find that if Autoglass supply an Elite spec screen (clip for rain sensor and heat reflective) you'll find it is made to order by Pilkingtons.

Will confirm that on Mundy too ;)

Dunno about that mate. Seen them fit some strange stuff to cars. Pilkington is the best windscreen I think
-
Strangely enough, had a windscreen fitted by Autoglass on the Transit yesterday. It's a Pilkington screen, and the service was impecible.
-
Your one of the lucky ones. We are run off our feet up here cause autoglass cant cope, telling people 3 week wait for door glasses.
-
Well there's only 3 genuine GM Elite spec screens left and they are all in Germany....

Here's the thing though, I would have though glass making technology (and not floating it on lead) is better now than it was 12/13 years ago. I'd bet the new screens (aftermarket) are better quality than the originals. :-\

Have to say, despite the wait Autoglass are a million times better than Auto Windscreens were the previous two times I've had a replacement Omega windscreen.

Your probably quite correct there :y

Saying nothing about autowindscreens. I have ordered my heat reflective, top tint rain sensored screen £130 not to bad
