Terrible scenes coming out of Tunisia, sorry state of the world we now live in today. My Daughter and her young family are due to stay there in a couple of weeks time, hoping she can get another destination. :( :(

It was a random attack, that wont happen again, why should they not go. That is what they want people to do,not go.
All the tourist resorts will be flooded with police and armed gaurds.
remember Egypt, hasn't happened since, armed gaurds etc.
would I go yes.

My heart goes out to all those families affected. Lot of Brits killed out of the current 39 toll.

The trouble is usually that the local police/ security get a bit lax over time, then when the shit hits the fan, it,s a massive wake up call to all concerned. As said, condolences to the friends/ families of all those who are caught up in this. :(

Although random,it is the second attack in Tunisia this year and it is likely to happen again

And everywhere else that the West helped remove dictators from...

Maybe they have at long last with regards to Syria. Britain (for some reason) steadfastedly refuses to bomb IS in Syria.

Unfortunately (without trying to sound like LZ) the word 'Islam' is beginning to take over from the word 'Nazissm'
The whole free world took steps to combat the Nazi's.... but why is everybody just prepared to sit and watch what is happening.
It is hard to combat it, peticularly when the definition of 'terrorist' is 'cowards who refuse to fight in uniform'

. Agreed very difficult situation, but until someone in power has the balls to get tough with these cowards, instead of bending over backwards to avoid "offending" them these atrocities will continue.

Imho, The Middle and most of the Far East just don't do democracy.
They need a real nasty bastard to keep the various factions in check.
Allowing some of these people to think too much for themselves is just plain dangerous and if you chuck in religion into the mix then it becomes dam right lethal for anybody who does not bow down, kiss there arse and do as they are told >:(

I think you will find that many countries are actively doing something right now including Britain. We have I believe, 4 planes flying daily bombing sorties along with the dozens being carried out by the Saudis etc. I think it is right and proper that the Muslim world are trying to sort the problem out with help from the West and not the other way round. Terorists are by definition very hard to fight as unlike you or I they are happy to die for the cause.
