Title: The Avengers am I Wrong

After a few drinks last night in the pub, talk came round to television and cars. Which brought me round inevitably to The Avengers.

Now all present agreed that Emma Peel (Diana Rigg) drove a Lotus Elan S2 or S3 I think.

Then we got on to Tara King (Linda Thorsen) and everyone shouted out yes she drove a Lotus Europa, to which I added Yes and an AC428.......

Silence.......followed what the bl**dy he** you talking about. Crazy thing is I can't find any proof of this, but I still think she drove a AC428 (for about a dozen episodes)

For people who don't know an AC428 was a 7litre overhead valve Ford engine, dropped into a gorgeous AC body shell. 428 denoted the cubic inches.

Anyway in the end I bet £20 on this.

Am I wrong :-?

Any Avengers experts out there let me know please :-?

I remember the Lotus Europa she drove but can't remember seeing Tara King drive an AC428. Can't be sure she didn't drive one though, just don't remember :-/
Is there an Avengers website that may provide info on the cars of the series :question

Looks like i am £20 up, so i think you are right.
Looks like she drove it for 9 episodes before they gave her the Europa.
