All he had to do was take the bollocking, post 250 inane and random/hollow questions and he could have advertised it here...

Only 117 posts to go... Eh Phil ::)

Sad to see him go.

Especially as he wasnt actually treated to the usual immediate deletion with no information etc.

I took the time to PM and explain that I know he was a long term known member who I had met, but without the post count there was nothing we could do.  He seemed (wrongly) convinced he was singled out and that we do move other sales!  Sadly all the explanation and apologies were in vain.

Yes OOF admin, how dare you refuse to provide a free advert on your free forum because the rules haven't been followed?

Two cars for the price of one? Neither MOT'd from memory.

Well done to Jimbob for taking the trouble to explain via PM.  :y

Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Vauxhall bends
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget

I too am sad to see him go, he'd been a member for a while, and had turned up to meets.

As Jimbob says, we operate a 100% rigid rule when it comes to sales, and never allow or move a sales thread from anyone with less than 250 posts. Absolutely no exceptions.

Your provably right. ...you know it's amazing the amount of bitching moaning and general crying one has to go through each time one logs on before getting to play on the forum. ....;D ;D ;D

Play by the spirit of the rules, you'll find all bitching stops ;).  Well, apart from the bitching that TBE won't go in a straight line (so she tells me - its been OK for the past 2 weeks when I've driven it)
