Sounds like he might have done a bit of investigation , if that was nearer it would be on me drive by now  ;D Bet robg will have it  ::)

I would have had that and done it up as a hobby. Problem is it would cost me about £600 to get it here!

Are those a standard facelift option set of wheels?

Standard fit on the late Elites.

If the big end bearing was worn, it`ll still run :-X
It would still run if there were no piston or rod in that cylinder  ;D ;D

Its a non runner for another reason..... go on someone ask him  ;D ;D

Asked why it was not running and got the reply


The top end was stripped down to establish the problem and therefore the engine wont run now. The oil was drained and white metal was plentiful. It ran beautifully prior to the big end going

That would be a perfect buy for me if it wasn't so far away. It would be a shame to break it. Drop in another engine in if need be, and it would be a nice car.
Apart from the distance involved , I spent my spare cash on a 1.2 Fiat Punto this morning.  :-[ ;D

Yep , 5 pot will be ok for a few hundred miles . Just stuff some rag in the hole  ;D ;D
Ran mine on 3 cylinders , still got me home  :P
