No Steve, neither him nor his camel! His passing is just another nail in the coffin of the film era I was brought up in and underscores the fact it'll be my turn in the not too distant future. Lifes a Bitch & then you die  ;D

I said similar today, not just film but 'names' that I have grown up with are begining to pass away. I remember my dad passing a similar comment some years ago, not just famous names, but you get to a stage when the amount of funerals you attend becomes a concern........... :(

Just waking up each day now is a bonus now, lost several friends/colleagues in the last 3 or 4 years, certainly makes me aware of my mortality.

Sad that he's gone,as said my era of growing up and all the names that have gone/are going.Way I look at it is that no matter how things go day by day every day you wake up has got to be a good one.

My great uncle said the worst thing about living until you are very old is that you go to most of your friend's and your generation of family's funerals. :(

He lived until he was 98 and said life was great until he got to over 90 and then it got painful with lots of things starting to wearout. :(
