Title: Going to look at a couple of Estates being broken, anyone need parts / prices?
Post by: zirk on 15 July 2015, 15:14:50: In a few days, talking to the chap on the phone, seems that one is a 3.0 PF Elite the other is a 3.0 FL MV6 both Estates, any need bits or prices?, thought I'd ask as Estates don't come up that often. :y

Will do, yes one is the very rare silver, I already claimed one of the rear doors though subject to condition. ;)

I could do with a header tank please. As long as its clean enough to see the water level. I assume they are the same for all makes. It will be going on a 2.6 auto estate Elite 2001.

Indeed it does :y earlier cars had a separate one, but all facelifts use a single pump for washers and a single one for headlight washers... Must be a double output pump :y

Post by: zirk on 15 July 2015, 20:25:27: Ok an list is growing, been asked a few questions, so here are answers to some, bearing in mind I've not seen the cars yet.

The cars are in East London.

Its not me breaking them, its someone I'm going to see.

Your welcome to contact the guy yourself and get bits so pm if you want he's number, but the whole idea of me posting this, is I'm going to have a wreck'y anyway and can help with photos, condition. Etc.

That's it for now, bear in mind the more bits I can get hold of, hopefully the better the price, I'm not out to make any money on this, what ever it cost, it costs, plus any postage etc. Other wise OOF courier, I can store some bits but nothing to big or bulky, sorry don't have the space at the moment.

Probably plan is for me to go down there, get some prices and report back before buying parts so keep them coming.
