Title: Tom Tom Start 25
Post by: Lagondanet on 24 July 2015, 21:19:50
Anyone have one of these?
I bought it about 6 months ago & worked fine.
Linked to PC recently for updates & has now locked (oppsed) with response ' no maps found'.
Have retried reset & recharge, plus upload etc more than once as per support help but unchanged.
Clues, or should I return to our friends Halfords?  ???

If you have receipt, take it back.
.also make sure you have the latest tomtom drive downloaded to your pc, If you have lifetime European maps, it will only download/update the European maps, that does include uk maps,it doesn't download uk map so don't click on uk if your updating European.

I had had it longer than I thought! 12 months, so just out of warranty. Couldn't find the receipt anyway.
Just bought a TT GO 6000. Lets see how we go with that.  :y

Started playing with my 6000 today. Had to ask TT to take the Start off before connecting the new one to computer. Their customer services did it straightaway. So far so good.  :y

Had the 6000 in my Insignias. Very, very good, if a little on the large side for the shape of the Omega dash/a post :y

Free updates and European live traffic and google for life too... which is nice 8)
