Post by: Nickbat on 10 July 2008, 22:46:52
Wow! This is great in-car footage of the Corvette ZR-1 lapping the Nurburgring in 7:26.4 and hitting 180mph at one point.  :o

i have a short list of things to do before i go to the great forum in the sky,and riding a bike around the ring is one of them. actually might be best to leave that one until last as it might mean not getting to do the others. ;D ;D

Ithink the lap record for the "ring"goes way back to about 1983.
I think it was someone called Stefan Bellof in either a 956 or 962 Porsche.
the time 6 mins 21 secs. Please correct me if i am wrong.....

Ithink the bike could do it in under 8 minutes ,but not under 7minutes.
