Someone I will be doing some work for as asked for a scanned copy, along with licence and insurance etc.
Went to dig out the paperwork, it was serviced at the same time, and no MOT certificate........ :-\ :-\

Yep a4 size so just smaller....that was at march this year and heard nothing different to that yet,,

I thought they had stopped giving certificates as you check the mot expiry dates online

This is all very basic stuff. If you're not really sure about such things then you really shouldn't be trusted with a car. :)

Printed off the Net, gives date of MOT and TAX
I am not convinced I have a copy, normally better with my paperwork.......... :-\ :-\

The last time I had a car old enough for an mot must be about 10 years ago

Its not a certificate, but a "receipt" that is printed by the MOT station in DVLA's specified format. The paper is not actually needed, as all stored online, but you should still get it.
