Looking to change the cambelt and was wondering if there's anything that may bite before starting?
Seems fairly straight forward from what details I can see on OOF. Obviously will replace the aux belt at the same time.
Thanks

Do you have a locking tool? :y

Oh you'll need to do the water pump too.
Where are you in gloucestershire? My home county :y

Nothing too strenuous. Need to replace the "cambelt kit" (cambelt, idlers and tensioner) and the waterpump (as its cambelt driven). Therefore, you need to do coolant as well.
About an hours work on the 2.2, double that if its the first time you've done it.
Photo exactly how the waterpump sits before removal, as its not always obvious how it goes back :)

Replace aux belt if its not been changed aswell, also grease up aux tensioner bearing aswell :y

And get tool well in the water pump bolt before trying to undo or the chew :y

Only small faff is making sure water pump sits right, other than that straight forward. :)
