Title: Will it fit ?

Need to pick up a ladder that's 12ft , Will it fit in the omega
saloon with seats folded down and a bit sticking out safely   :-\

tie a bit of red rag to the end, make sure it's lashed down inside and jobs a guddun :y

Ram it up the passenger side and there won't be too much sticking out of the back. :y

Got pick it up tomorrow . The ladder is 11ft and I've measured up
inside the car with back seat out an its just over 9ft .
Should be ok i think , ill put some luminous rags on the back of ladder
sticking out . Only 8 miles  :y

I had 3m of 100mm x 50mm box section in the estate the other week, still had 6 inch to spare. Take lots of rags and you may need to roll the passenger seat down flat to get it in.

I did then realised that it still hit the rear seat base . Then i removed the rear seat base and lowered the front seat .. bit better  :y

I've had a 3 seater sofa on the roof bars on the Veccy. I went up to Leeds/Bradford area last year in my MX5, with the passenger seat already removed. I picked up 4 x 17" Saab wheels and tyres and a hardtop for the MX5. I still had to rope the boot shut with a wheel hanging out, but it got me home.

Ladder went in no problem , about 2 ft out the boot ... who needs an estate  :D ;D :y
