Wandered over to Rhyl (Shudder) Air show yesterday as the Vulcan was due over.
That may have drawn me this year, but we will be back.
Free display over the beach / sea so everything is very close, also spread out viewing. Worked really well.
Some cracking aerobatic displays, all in all a very enjoyable afternoon.
And now a few photos....

Nice shots there Jim, nice to see the Vulcan still flying, brings back memories of when I was a kid at school, and they used to come thundering over practicing there low fly skills for real, normally 2 or 3 of them in formation together with some Fighter Escorts. :y

Saw XH558 flying West up the coast from the Cobb at Lyme yesterday and wondered where she was off to. :y

Smashing photos,Vulcan as stunning as ever.Dc3/Dakota/C47 a sturdy old workhorse and still in use in some parts of the world I believe[?]My absolute favourite out of those though has to be the old Stringbag, old fashioned hopelessly outdated, slow but what damage they still inflicted!brave, brave men the crews of those :y

A Vulcan doing anything quietly just doesn't sound right... :-\

My uncle flew in a stringbag,he was shot down twice and two of the carriers he was flying off were sunk too,God knows how he made it through the war,he only started to talk about it just before he died
