Been offered a car, Trying to get some ideas as to whether it's worth me getting the car to break or more likely, take / swap bits over, then re-sell the car hopefully for break-even/small loss (but I've then got all the bits I need, of course)
It's got...
PFL leather interior from an MV6. Recaro sports jobbies, extendable seat cushions. The drivers has suffered a bit where sports seats always go, so will need a bit of repair and passengers is fine. I know these were hen's teeth and in demand a few years ago, but not sure if no-one wants PFL interior stuff any more.
I'd hope for near/up to £150, given the rarity, compared with standard leather interiors that are £60-120ish, or am I miles out?
Next, the MFL Bose set up with the in built car phone. No clue. £10? £100? All speakers, amp and that would most likely include the shelf with rear blind, too.
I suspect it's a CD or thereabouts which has been 'elite-ised' so probably no electric suspension. Trying to think what else could be got, but anything that's taken off needs to be replaced with something equivalent if I'm to re-sell.
Cheers, and if there's any PFL requests let me know. Be nice if this car is viable to buy, as said just after 'my money back' effectively, and nice if I can help a few OOFers along the way :)

Non FL Sports leather doesn't seem to be in demand, as they are unsuitable for FL cars.
Guessing the stereo is the rather unreliable CCRT700 with its unique display and unique CDC2 variant? Again, I'd be surprised if much demand, as its not a plug and play upgrade.
Sorry....

Buy it :D
As Omega's get rarer and glutons for punishment people buying them scarcer it is our duty to own at least two examples each!!!

TB, no need for apologies, there's not much on it, really, had it been the Elite, at least there'd have been Xenon and such. I'm guessing the 'unsuitability' for FLs refers to their lack of active head restraints, yes? Or is there a more physical incompatability I'm not aware of?
VXL, let's go halves, Andy, you can have it Mon, Wed, Fri, I'll do Tue, Thur, Sat, and take it in turns every other Sunday :D :D
Time share Omega 2.0, ex-taxi, chequered history, hundreds of miles between where we live, what could possibly go wrong?? :y

I already have the required quota on the drive!!! :y

You also won't get seat heaters working without a lot of faff.
Like VXL V6, I also have correct quota

haha, well for a week, so did I :) but the old Turbo Weasel got moved on.
It's a tricky one, realistically it'd be the bonnet and front wings I'd be keeping, plus the odd bit of trim here and there but that's about it. I was going to have the doors, but they've been resprayed, and although pretty good, they're a bit orange-peeley, and compared with Opel's original glasslike finish, it shows up close. If the doors were excellent/original Opel Robot-sprayed, then I think I'd not be hesitating, but I'm on the fence. :-\ :-\
