This is the thread for CIF cleaning results  ;D Mighty good results and all for 99p  :y

I use a brillo pad or metal pan scourer. :y

CIF does a good job by looks of it Mr EMD  8) :D

Plenum cleaned with a mixture of products over time such as carb/brake cleaner, metal polish, degreasing spray etc.., Yesterday I did however use a cotton type mop drill attachment with autosol metal polish on the throttle body and A/C pipes  :y

It'll look lovely when the scrapman  lifts the bonnet to rip the engine out. :)

Thats a good clean one mr omegaman  :y The cif lasts as well , not had to clean the plenum at all since i did it last month  :D Need to polish the tb's with the dremmel  :y

Why does Tb need polishing with a dremmel?  ;D

I prefer rainwater, grease and grime to clean my engine bay.

whats all this talk of cleaning engine?   next will be expected to wash the outside and vacuum the inside - door sills make a good weir.

  Had to wash the outside of mide when I realised it was mole hills on the top of it ;D ;D :o :o

That photo has just reminded me that I need to order a new expansion tank to cure my 'coolant level' message.  :y

New one makes bay nice and smart too  :y
