Post by: kennymcd on 22 September 2015, 21:19:50
The battery on my omega is discharging overnight. I have fitted a new battery but this did not cure it. Anyone any ideas, Thanks

Helps if you post up model details, year, engine, petrol, diesel, model level etc.

loads of stuff on that here, just use the search box and you will find it.  basically get a multimeter wait 15 mins for the car to settle down, measure the drain, it should be 60-80mA, if not start pulling fuses until the drain stops.  or could be a duff battery.  battery most likely damaged by now anyway if it has been flat a few times.  or could be faulty reg on the alternator.

It's either in the FAQ section, or the Maintenance Guides... Both of which are indexed :y
