A report out recently seems to show that after something of a drop in sales,at least in part attributed to the advent of these e reader things that sales of books are on the rise again whereas the sales of e readers are in decline. It is said that Waterstones are to cease selling Kindles as sales have slowed to a trickle.I do a load of reading and whilst books do take up a fair bit of space[I need at least one more bookcase-if not two]I wouldn't have an e reader of any kind. For me apart from the enjoyment I derive from reading there is also an element of tactile pleasure in holding an actual book.So I'm glad that book sales are on the rise again.

I don't read story books, so can't comment.
However, Mrs TB prefers her Kindle to traditional books, as easier to slip in her bag, and is always with her.

I'm always with my head in a book on a break. I don't do much fiction though, I much prefer tales of derring-do from people who do much more interesting jobs than me...
