rain... lots of rain. dark road
Alarming vibration starts coming from the offside front... limped into tesco to find a bolt through the O/S/F Tyre.
To then wake up this morning to find the O/S/R has gone flat due to a screw. :(
On the same road to work this morning in another car to see the remains of someone car accident has not been swept up and the remains are in my tyres.
so two tires destroyed all thanks to some ass who cant recover a car properly.
:'(

As far as I know, they just pick them up and take them away. When someone had an accident at the end of our road, the council cleaned up afterwards.

Might be a daft question but under the circumstances can you not make a claim against the council.? I believe you can for damage incurred from potholes. Of course it might be too late by now as the evidence might have gone.

Can safely say a mate had his front bearings ruined by potholes (Omega, which, incidentally, were probably ruined before the potholes) and they paid up prompt.
