No idea about MV6 alloys but these are face lift Elite
(http://i18.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/f9/78/74fe_1.JPG) (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200238569403&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNARL:GB:1123)

I like these as they aren't quite as open as a lot of others.

facelift MV6 is very similar aside from a champfer (sp) on the outer edge of the spoke.....

Would love a set of Facelift Elite 5 spoke alloys for the CDX, but not willing to pay the kings ransom that seems to be demanded these days

Be carefull with the very Late FL MV6 alloys, there's some late Vecta 17' alloys that look allmost identical, but obviously no good for the Megy. A quick give away is the Veccy ones are designed for 215 / 17 and not 235.

They look quite similar to the ones on my car, but mine have 6 spokes:

some of the aftermarket ones can be both better quality and more stylish than original ones. 17 inch Elite rims for example dont even look like 17inch - the spokes are to wide.

in my humble opinion, Facelift Elite 17" 5 spokes are the best looking wheel for a mig and i'd love some on mine ;)

Possibly more stylish but i would not say better quality, certainly in the UK.
I have seen may wheels that have laquer lifting, buckled and out of true (and still in the box they were supplied in) and they are a lot of money as well....

Wheels are very much a personal issue, i am yet to see a set of aftermarket wheels that look good on an Omega.

Without any shadow of doubt the best wheels (IMHO) are the Sportstars on Mike Dundee's.... I thought about nicking them at the  Lakes .. but too many folks were watching .. :)

They are also the late face lift elite wheels to. They put them on from 52 plate on.
My 03 plate has these on but the ones that are on my 2000 W plate i like alot more.

When I built the kit car finding aftermarket wheels that were tasteful and not over the top chavtastic was not too hard. They seem to have changed their ranges now and pretty much everything available - well, it belongs on TB's list. :-X

Sorry chaps, but I still (following a similair thread the other month)cannot understand about all this fuss over alloy wheels, especially those feelings over fewer the spokes the better.  :-/ :-/ :-/

Is this a man thing...you know size matters!!! ;D ;D ;D ;)

It used to be that the greater number of steering wheel spokes a car had the more luxurious the model / trim level.  i.e. an Austin A40 & Mini, Ford Cortina & Escort(base models) had usually two spokes, but went up to four depending on trim level.  A Humber, Westminster, Morris Oxford,  Carlton, Senator, Rolls Royce, etc (obviously luxury models) all started their ranges with at least 3 spokes if not 4.

I remember with my 2.0 GLS Mk3 Cortina it had 3/4 (?) steering wheel spokes, which at the time people though was real good!  In other words the more spokes the better, not less! :-? :-? :-?

What has changed? :-/ :-/ :-/  Have men lost their virility? :-X :-X  Less is better for you? Huh! :o :o :o :o

By the way my 2000 2.5 V6 CDX has SEVEN spokes 8-) 8-) 8-), which I think looks about right on a miggy.  But I'm a girl so what do I know ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)
