Title: Mud flaps
Post by: EMD on 26 November 2015, 15:47:44
Anyone bought some of these's http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STYLISH-CAR-FRONT-PAIR-MUD-FLAPS-DIRT-TRACK-SPLASH-GUARD-CAR-GIFT-IDEAS-/351343075211?fits=Model%3AOmega&hash=item51cdaddf8b:g:7UMAAOSwPcVVn4kH

Omega sprays a lot of muck up so was considering fitting them but only if they are tailored fit  :)

'Stylish Mud Guards'

Ohh dear  ;D ;D ;D

Our old 3.0 Elite Estate had them, I could quite easily file them down on country roads. They were a pain really.

Yeah the fronts can scrape when turning in briskly  ::) Had them on the old MV but that was lower and they were not custom fit ones , elite is more bouncy in the corners so would rip them off in no time  :D

Front mudflaps, even the genuine VX ones, are a complete waste of time due to how the Omega front end sits lower than most other cars. Had them on mine and when removed they were a good 30mm shorter due to being shaved off by tarmac

So instead of a bit of easily removed spray/dirt, you now want inconvenient, ill fitting, difficult to clean and impossible to make look good, ultimately gay mud flaps?  From ebay?
