				Yes it a auto :y

-
				Recent cam sensor?

 Bah Boom, Tish  :-X
-
				I get the code as

P1555   Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Load Signal not Plausible with Engine Load
-
That's it How can I cure this I've changed switch on throttle peddle do I need a throttle body ??? Light always comes on at least after 20mins of driving car does seem to drive ok even with engine doing 70-80 mph it's just annoying me now of what to do the breathers seem ok I do have a slight blow on front pipe  :y

-
Tightly cable tie the throttle body plug to the throttle body and report back :y

-
Done that light comes on still  :y

-
Mine is doing exactly the same, even went on holiday (France) with it happening and nothing seemed to being effected by it

at least read the last entry in here

I am still of the opinion that it is Fuel trim + CAT or Lamba or exhaust flow related .
Note - pre-cat has been removed since and code still there

I will someday get round to replacing both lamba's with new from GM but expensive, after that the CAT

-
Hi again done the cable tie on plug but broke down yesterday my fault plug was not connected properly I lost throttle call rac out I could not believe I done it but he tried to clear code but coming up with p0700 transmission something he explained saying gearbox transmission module  range any ideas car seems ok but can't clear code thanks glenn

-
Finally...  A spurious gearbox code... Fit a new genuine cam sensor that you have physically and personally acquired from an actual Vauxhall dealer. And report back :y

Get gearbox ECU read for codes.
-
Is car ok to drive it seems ok how come rac didn't read gearbox ecu

-
That code suggests the car just needed to pee ::)

-
Is car ok to drive it seems ok how come rac didn't read gearbox ecu

Yes and because they are special  ;)
-
thinking of getting rid of omega for another I can't be going on with these issues and don't understand what's going on  I'm not mechanically minded just be easier ?? why this code has come up and if gearbox is on its way out then so be it  >:(

-
Dense as I am, even I can deduce from answers on here that it may well be that the cam sensor was changed and an after market one fitted shortly before you got the car. Unfortunately you may have to fit a genuine VX one to eliminate this as the fault. Your choice. :y

-
Sorry to contradict but most of the time it's when the throttle body is cleaned. Go figure  ::)

-
and if gearbox is on its way out then so be it  >:(

 How did you deduce that?

You ideally need the gearbox codes read. Don't bother with breakdown outfits, they are simply there to get you home when it breaks.

Is there a local member who could read your codes properly?
-
I don't know help any local code readers  :y
