Title: You shall go to The Open, Shyboy!

Had decided not to bother this time even though it's just down the road, but have just been given a 4-day free pass and reserved car parking by a friend. Can't pass that up, so tomorrow, at least, is going to be an exhausting day roaming Royal Birkdale, watching the golf magician's ply their trade.
If you watch, I'll give you all a wave.  8-) :-*

Golf  ???  Now let me see ... ah yes .. "Waste of a good walk"   ;D ;D

And walking around watching it ???  paint drying sounds more interesting

Shame on you, Nige.
Golf has never spoilt any of my walks, and I always enjoy watching the consummate skill of real experts at work, whether it be sport, working on motors, posting jokes or whatever.
I take it there will be no point in waving to you, then.  ;D

What an experience to be able to see top-flight sportsmen on one of the finest links-courses in the world; that, combined with the tickets/benefits must surely make it a wonderful opportunity.....go-go-go!

Thanks, Debs. Cameras, mobile phones, even umbrellas all prohibited on Championship days, I'm afraid.
I'm not sure one is allowed to breathe, either.
But I will enjoy it.

This begs the questions .... should I watch the golf just in case I see you and you happen to notice the camera and wave ?, should I do the oil change on the Miggy prior to French holiday ? or should I do something really, really exciting like mowing the lawn ??

Are you taking Margaret with you, or has she rejected your kind offer ???

And to top it all Nige., I'm playing at the vale of LLangollen Golf club on Friday. Now that is heaven on earth! Margaret let's me out to play on my own on these occasions.  ;)
