Title: sideways video
Post by: pauls on 17 December 2015, 16:54:27
Just been to my sons school christmas play which i recorded  on my samsung a5. I got home and managed to copy it onto my computer. When i went to replay it , it play sideways and i could not get it to replay the correct way up.

Is this a setting on my phone or the software on my computer.

If you use VLC media player ... load the movie, pause it, then go to

tools, effects & filters, video effects, geometry,

from there you can rotate it as much as you wish, either using the rotation "knob" or the transform option.

Get VLC from here     http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.en_GB.html

Pick your monitor up. Place it down on its side. Easy.

That's just stupid.  You'll break the monitor.

Much better off putting the monitor on the floor, and lying down on your side next to it.  Bing Bash Bosh!
